About the founder

Hi there! My name is Todd Wheeler. I’m an orthopedic physical therapist with more than 13 years of experience treating a variety of conditions from head to toe.

Over the years I’ve been asked a lot of the same questions about injury prevention. I decided to make this site to reach more people and help them stay on the court pain free.

My introduction to pickleball was in 8th grade gym class, in my home state of South Dakota. I had already been playing tennis at the time (I know, boooo) so it caught my interest. Unfortunately I didn’t have much opportunity to play in high school and college, but then came back to it after PT school.

As a physical therapist, I promote the many benefits of regular activity. I’m a huge fan of pickleball’s unique ability to get people outside and moving in a social setting. It’s no wonder the sport has seen a huge rise in popularity

I encourage you to explore the Health Hub and let’s keep you playing well for years to come!
